Psp how do i unlock the 4 digit password

If u dont no the password or got it with password was already like that,,theres a sony 1800 number,,they have four digit codes to get through that,,tell them u forgot it,,,try 4444,or 0000,,old ps2 codes ,,can find number on box if u have psp box,,or psn,,online for number,,goodluck

1. go to system settings under settings in the home menu
2. click restore to default settings
3. the password will now be reset to 0000 or 9999

try to reset your psp but before rebooting your psp let save your games, music, pictures, etc. on your computer

get your psp manual and check your foor digit password

The 4-digit password is Parental Controls. You might have them on and not realize it. The generic code is usually "0000".

try 1234 as this is sonys default

you should not have buyed this anyways so here goes first you got to settings then restore settings then thee password will restored to 0000

You need to reset to factory settings:

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to System Settings
3. Go down to Restore Default Settings
4. Hit Yes

You should be good to go now with a 4 digit password of 0000

Go to your PSP's Settings > System Settings >Restore Default Settings. The New Password will be 0000
