There is no AOSS Button on the PSP, some routers has it.

try to reset your psp but before rebooting your psp let save your games, music, pictures, etc. on your computer Hope it help!

1. go to system settings under settings in the home menu
2. click restore to default settings
3. the password will now be reset to 0000 or 9999

Here's how I think you can tackle it:

1: If your credit card number is appearing in x's (e.g.. 111xxxxxxxxxxx357) then retype it.

2: If you live in a flat/ apartment then placing your address on 1 or 2 lines might help

3: Is your credit card still valid?

It clearly says on the downloading screen that you must not turn off the PSP, disconnect the AC charger (if connected), or put the PSP in sleep mode. Pretty much leave it alone when you download it. To reset the PSP, you can take out the battery and put it back in and it should work again. Then re-download the update.

The thing is, you got the games from a different PSN account. Sony doesn't allow you to play games from a different PSN account, so I advise you to either delete those games or go onto the PSN account you got those games from. Or if you have the money, buy those games on your account.

I first recommend replacing the battery. It is cheapest and easiest.
If problem persists, then you may have a faulty board or capacitor that will have to be found with a cap tester. Double check ribbon cable from battery to board to make sure there is not a loose conneciton or broken wires.

he aoss is for an easy set up, just turn on your psp, go to infrastructure settings, and scan for your router. then just use the auto everything to set it up. Unless you have a WEP key then you have to enter that.
But the Aoss Button is not on the PSP its on your router.
