A very common problem for this set has been bad electrolytic capacitors on the power supply. There are 2 in this model that are 1000uf at 35 volts that will commonly cause this. When they go bad they will normally be domed or mushroomed on top rather than be flat, so they should be easy to locate. If you can solder, they would be easy to change yourself. You can get the caps just about anywhere online for only a few dollars. A repair shop would probably charge around $100 to make this repair if it is indeed bad capacitors.

Try typing your model tv along with the words "trouble codes" This could be a code 22 or a 2. Sounds like a bad connection or bad component failing such as capacitor or resistor. The tv may be shutting down as protection against what it senses as a power supply failure.

Sounds like a cold solder joint somewhere.

I had this problem jusrt before last week-end with my Leganza. Sorry to say but it was the BM Bearing and it is now going to wrecker Heaven. If it is the same your motor is about to blow up.

Hi: Sounds like it might be an overheating part, and the short is shutting of the set. Or it could be an intermittent connection in the pc board. Either case it would have to be repaired by a expert.

Sounds like a bad SSB(small signal board) module. Better take it to a RCA AUTHORIZED service center.

This sounds like a protection system cutting in. This happens if there is a major fault and continual use would lead to a fire risk.
