Green LED on back of power supply indicates it's getting power. That does not mean that it's distributing the power voltages to the computer. You could have a bad power supply or a bad motherboard. Just to make surethat nothing else is causing the problem, remove any PCI cards like modem, video card, sound card, etc... Remove the memory modules and disconnect cablesto CD/DVD drives. Look at the USB ports to see if any are damaged.
as i always say: intercept
all of cables of your PC case and even power cable of your monitor. evolve
battery of bios then wait for 25 minutes then connect all of cables and
try turning on your PC: 1- with battery of bios 2- without
battery of bios it should work.(this works cause the
motherboard reset it's bios and start correctly again).
Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems.
1. Start up your desktop as normal but as soon as it starts keep pressing the 'F8' key.
2. You will have a black background with white writing on and lots of options.
3. Use the up and down arrow keys and select last known good configuration, then press the enter key to select it.
Your computer should start up.
If you have a blank screen, do you hear the fans whirring and see lights on the front?
If so then your computer works but is not sending s signal out to the monitor.
Check all cables to make sure they are securely connected.
If you still have no image. Swap your monitor for a friends one that you know works.
This will test if it is your monitor that has failed. If you see an image on your friends you will need a new monitor or new monitor cable.
If you do not see an image on your friends monitor and your PC has lights and fan whirring then you need to get a new graphics card.
If you have no lights and no fan whirring it is outside the scope of this and we need some more information as it could be
1. Failed power supply
2. Failed memory
3. Blown motherboard
4. Failed processor
Please report back with answers to
1. Do you hear fans whirring?
2. Do you see a power light/led light up? (in example pic it is green)
3. Do you see the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) LED/light flash at all?
Ur tv LED light indicator "LAMP"flashes? Then the projection bulb life is over must be change. This tv been watching the tv at least 4 or 5 hours a day,the last 3 years? The projection bulb only last about 1500 hours.
If the green light comes on on the front panel then it means the fan is spinning so what u can do is a self test for the monitor.Disconnect the vga cable from the back panel of the computer tower and then check if there is a message displayed on the monitor that should say check video signal or no inoput signal ,if there is no such message displayed then it means the monitor is a fault .If not then reset the memory card and then check .U can also run a test for the motherboard to do this u will have to remove the memory card and then turn the computer on if u hear long beeping noise it means the motherboard is fine .If u dont hear any sound then the mother board needs to be repaired or replaced...
Mass storage device is a usb drive, flash memory etc.
If you disabled the usb device, it will no longer work, that is why you do not hear the beeping any more.
You need to get the correct device driver for your usb so it works correctly.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck.
