Westinghouse LCD TV Not Working

Hello,
I have a Westinghouse LCD; model # LTV-20v2SL and it stopped working.
I had turned it on, then it just went off...I tried using different outlets, unplugging for a moment or 2 and then re-plugging in; nothing.
It was purchased a couple of years ago; fairly new. Any suggestions?

i have a westinghouse LTV-20v2sl and when i turn it on the light turns red and nothing comes up on the screen so please give me a solution

My LTV-20vSL has the same problem, but my LED is blue. Black screen, no sound, and no remote capability. Will only turn off by pulling the plug. ANYBODY?

Westinghouse led tv has gost images

Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player.

Made some crackling noise and shut off ,smoke smell ,no power at all .

Power supply has burnt capacitors and they have caused the psu to fail, can be repaired however. with a replacement psu board.

My TV comes on with vertical lines rolling up on the screen with picture. The picture also freezes and then goes to the blue screen for a while and then comes back on perfect. Is there a problem with the...

No,the T-CON board it is dying and the causes to causes this problems.That the board sit at the bottom in the middle of the tv LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON board for the replacement.

Is there a universal remote control that will work with Westinghouse LTV-20V2SL?

Universal remotes are cheaper,but those codes u enter for any tvs any models might work might not.No,not any univeral remotes have any particular tvs brands,just a list of a universal codes for the tvs brands it covers.Try website like Remotes.com to buy a remote same as ur original remote.Than u don't care about codes or taking chances of those codes,will or will not work for ur tv.

Got new tv Westinghouse LTV-32W1 32 Inch Widescreen LCD TV LTV-32W1 in need of help! do not have the remote and trying to progam it to turn on but blue light turns green and picture turns blank

Hello,
in this case i have to know if your tuner is working fine or not. First of all i like you to connect any external player Exp. DVD or blue-ray player if that works with audio then it is inverter board. if audio doesn't work then its main board. Also you will find out that if dvd is working fine on your tv than your tv setting is wrong or the tunes is dead. either way if tuner is gone then you have to change the main board. Either way let me know what went wrong i can provide you more information about what part need and where can you get it from.

The picture went black, but the tv still has audio

The back light inverter board may have gone out, or ir is not getting 24vdc from the power supply module, check those two places.

I get no picture ...tv turns on bulbs are working but I get no pic with tv or dvd and I cant see the menu or any of its properties .... but I do get sound, Thanks. The lcd tv is a westinghouse 40 inch dvd...

You need a T-con Board and I have that one for $80.00.
I reclaim working components for TV damaged in shipping or returned for other reasons. Simple repair for any body with a Philips screwdriver. NO special tools needed.

I bought a 32 LCD Westinghouse TV 12 months ago. It stopped working so I brought it to a TV repair shop. They determined that the main board went out. The TV's power supply is working but there is no screen or sound, nothing. The TV repair shop had to call Westinghouse to inquire about a replacement part. Funny, Westinghouse doesn’t make replacement parts for this TV. Westinghouse said we need to ship it back to them and they will send us a new TV. Okay that sounds good but they wont pay the $100 plus shipping costs for us to ship the broken TV back to them. Also, they make you send them the TV before they send you the replacement TV. That can take days. If the customer's TV went out because of the company’s faulty product, the customer shouldn't have to dic around with this shipping issue – Waa, Waa! The TV was nice but for it to conk out in one-year shows what shi++y merchandise Westinghouse is selling their consumers. “Buyer Beware”
