There was a storm yesterday and the cable was hit.

Fault its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

I HAVE MISPLACED MY MANUAL AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT

To delete unwanted channels, hit the menu button on the remote or the right side of the front TV control buttons. Go to TV/HDTV Setting and the Channel Edit function. Choose delete. A pdf of the manual is available:

Dark vertical line(s) on Lcd tv

Most likely it's the LCD panel failure. You can replace the panel if you can find a spare part. But the new panel may cost you as much as to buy a new tv. Hope that will help you.

Why do I have 5 horizontal lines intrspersed with symbols on the lower half of screen? picture & sound otherwise just fine.

Youwon't be certain if you are getting the right firmware or the complete firmware. .....makes it stop for a while, the same as it may with a weak antenna signal. .... would just go nuts and display a bunch of colored bars vertically.

Screen has all of a sudden turned Bright Red! The booklet is useless! I can get the colors almost to a sepia then once shut off & turned back on it goes back to bright red

How do I enlarge picture

Picture size can be adjusted by using either the TV or cable box remote controls. Just access the menu on either (sometimes both have it), and look for the option to change the picture size.
