Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Based on your description " makes squealing sound almost like beeping at the beginning of its cycle "...it is likely to be either the pump impeller or the inlet valve.

With the Bosch built line of dishwasher`s this is a known problem...the carbon ring ( spring ) of the impeller pump seal kit. ( make sure it is indeed a SHU9915UC before ordering parts )

**Most common in units not used regularly, i.e. in a holiday cottage or vacation property, but time to time on daily used as well unfortunately...but also due to the heat from normal wear & tear**

You first must determine which is the source of course. Does the noise begin after filling with water and the pump starts, or does it begin upon the filling of water ?

If it's the valve, make sure the water supply line is completely "open" and if so replace the valve with part #425458

If it is the motor wash impeller squeeling It can be remedied by one of two methods, replacing the entire motor & pump assy part # 442548...

i.e.

My dishwasher(Bosch) makes sqeeling sound - e3a16c5.jpguploads/images/e3a16c5.jpg" alt="e3a16c5.jpg" class="h_mi" />

This retails between $99.00us. to as much as $170.00us. depending where you look. I usually go through "searspartsdirect.com" for about $100us. ( you can also investigate "repairclinic.com" or "appliancepartspros.com" to name a few.

Or if you are mechanically inclined, replacing the pump impeller kit. pMy dishwasher(Bosch) makes sqeeling sound - 08f460f.jpg5

i.e.

The kit is typically around $50 -$75us, hence it can be cheaper when factoring labour for the complete motor/pump assy.

This is a pretty involved repair to explain, in fact I think it is harder to explain than actually do...but I`ve done many.

If you`d like to provide me with an email address I can attach a file in "pdf" showing you step by step how you can do this without much cost at all really...likely your time will be the greatest expense.

Let me know how you`d like to proceed and I`ll help in whatever manner I can.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and Good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Why is my Bosch dishwasher beeping and not starting?
Bosch dishwashers are designed to beep when there is an error. A beep means that your drain is not clogged, and the rest of the parts are functioning as they should. Beeping in the middle of the cycle points to the problem with the control board itself. Find the circuit breaker and turn it off for 60 seconds.

After the wash cycle dishwasher beeps

Hello, welcome to FixYa. While I don't have access to my PC files at the moment as I am on my iphone, I believe this is the procedure for most B/S/H/ built dishwashers ( that means Bosch, Thermador, Siemens and Gaggenau ). To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal... 1. Open the door, hold down the ?Quick Wash? button and simultaneously turn the Dishwasher on. The ?Quick Wash? light will blink (program mode). 2. While the light is still blinking, push the ?Quick Wash? button. ? If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled. ? When you push the button again and it doesn?t beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled. 3. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of program mode. I hope this answer's your question. Thank you for choosing "fixya". Please rate the solution favorably if indeed it was helpful, if not please let me know. Good luck. macmarkus :)

My bosch dishwasher beeps everytime we close the door.

Better switch of till you are ready with full load. Otherwise you have to trace the beeper and disconnect it.
