Hello, welcome to FixYa. While I don't have access to my PC files at the moment as I am on my iphone, I believe this is the procedure for most B/S/H/ built dishwashers ( that means Bosch, Thermador, Siemens and Gaggenau ). To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal... 1. Open the door, hold down the ?Quick Wash? button and simultaneously turn the Dishwasher on. The ?Quick Wash? light will blink (program mode). 2. While the light is still blinking, push the ?Quick Wash? button. ? If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled. ? When you push the button again and it doesn?t beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled. 3. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of program mode. I hope this answer's your question. Thank you for choosing "fixya". Please rate the solution favorably if indeed it was helpful, if not please let me know. Good luck. macmarkus :)

Sorry, I don't know what happened to my first solution with all the question marks, but hopefully this works better the 2nd try.

To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal... 1. Open the door, hold down the Quick Wash button and simultaneously turn the Dishwasher on. The Quick Wash light will blink (program mode). 2. While the light is still blinking, push the Quick Wash button. If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled. When you push the button again and it doesn't beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled. 3. Turn the dishwasher off to take it out of program mode. Let me try to clean up my earlier post/solution now that I have access to my PC. The previous instruction was for a SHU8800/8810, sorry.

To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal on the SHV4300 & 4800...

    1. Open the door, hold down the “Delicate/Econo”
button and simultaneously turn the Dishwasher on.

    2. Release the Delicate/Econo button...

    • If the machine beeps, then the Cycle
    Completion Signal has been enabled.
    • When you push the button again and it
doesn’t beep, it means that the Cycle
    Completion Signal has been disabled.

    3. To change back and forth from beep to no beep push the Delicate/Econo.

    4. Turn the dishwasher "off" to exit the program mode, preferred setting will be saved.

I hope this answer's your question. Thank you for choosing "fixya".

Please rate the solution favorably if indeed it was helpful, if not please contact me via replying to this post to let me know.

    Good luck.

My Bosch dishwasher is driving me crazy! When it finishes a wash cycle it beeps twice every 10 minutes until the door is opened. We can't run the dishwasher at night after dinner unless we're SURE we...

Hello there,

It would help to know the model number of the dishwasher, but on many Bosch dishwashers, you can switch the cycle cycle completion signal off as follows:

1. While holding the right-hand CANCEL/DRAIN button, also press and hold the ON/OFF button
2. When the LED above the CANCEL/DRAIN button illuminates and the beeping starts, release both buttons
3. Press the right CANCEL/DRAIN button repeatedly until the beeping tone is at the desired volume, i.e. silent!
4. Press the "ON/OFF" button again to set the volume.

On models with the wash cycle buttons on the top edge of the door, the CANCEL/DRAIN buttons aren't always explicitly labelled CANCEL/DRAIN. These buttons are also labelled RESET on some models.

On models with 3 and 4 wash cycle buttons, the right CANCEL/DRAIN button is the third button when reading from left to right. On models with 5 wash cycle buttons, the right CANCEL/DRAIN button is the fourth button when reading from left to right.

Please try the above then let me know if you need further assistance. Please state the model number or series (i.e. Integra) of your washer if/when replying.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
BElectric

How do you disable the cycle completion signal/beep on the Bosch SHU9915UC dishwasher?

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

I think can answer your question..."How do you disable the cycle completion signal/beep on the Bosch SHU9915UC dishwasher?"

Follow these steps...

**How to Operate the Cycle Completion Signal**

1. Open door, hold down program button (see
Beeper Table below) and simultaneously turn the unit "ON".

MODEL Program BUTTON

SHU 9950 Delay Start Hours
**SHU 9910-9920 Delicate/Econo** should be yours
SHU 8800/8810 Quick Wash

SHV 6800 Delay Start Hours
SHV 4800 Delicate/Econo
SHV 4300 Delicate/Econo

2. Release program button.
a. For SHV 6803 and SHU9950 models:
The display will blink with a code of "0", "1" or
"2". You are in program mode.

• If the display blinks with a "0", you will hear
no signal (indicates OFF).

• If the display blinks with a "1", you will hear a
LOW volume signal.

• If the display blinks with a "2", you will hear a
HIGHER volume signal.

b. For all other models with the beeper
function:

• If the machine beeps, then the Cycle
Completion Signal has been enabled.

• When you push the button again and it does
not beep, it means that the Cycle Completion
Signal has been disabled.

3. To change the program, press the program
button until the desired setting is selected.

4. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of
program mode.

* At the end of a wash cycle, the beeper will sound
off two times, and again every 15 minutes until the
dishwasher is turned off.

Hope this answers your question and provides you with what you needed.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Please take a moment to rate the solution provided and a short testimony if you feel it's warranted, but also let me know if you require further assistance.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)
