Bosch SHX Dishwasher keeps beeping when it is finished.

Bosch SHX43C05UC Dishwasher keeps beeping when it is finished until the door is opened. It is so annoying. How do you disconnect it.

It does not have a digital display. Only 5 buttons. On/off, Power scrub, Regular wash, Delicate, and Rinse and Hold.

Very annoying problem, also exists on Bosch SMU 7000 series.

I have this save dishwasher model, and it does not have a cancel/reset button - so that solution does not make sense - should I try another button?

Use the On/Off button instead. You can either disable the signal or here is how to change the volume of your "beeps" per the Owner's Manual: Cycle Completion Signal This feature is a tone that sounds when when your Bosch dishwasher finishes washing and drying your dishes, and is available ONLY on Top Control models. You can either disable the tone, or you can set it at one of three volumes (dishwashers with this feature leave our factory with the tone set on the middle volume). Changing the Cycle Completion Signal Volume 1. Open the dishwasher door far enough to expose the control buttons. 2. Press and hold down the right-most of the two buttons labelled "Cancel Drain", as shown in Figure 34, then press and hold the On/Off button. When the light on the "Cancel Drain" button you are pressing illuminates, and the tone begins to sound, release both buttons. 3. Press the "Cancel Drain" button you previously pressed until the tone is at the desired volume, or until it is silent. If your dishwasher has an LED display it will also show a "1", "2", or "3" for the volume levels and a 0 when the tone is disabled. 4. Press the On/Off Button. 5. Close the dishwasher door. The Cycle Completion Signal is now set, and you may wash your dishes as usual.

Beeping won't stop at end of cycle

Our Bosch does the same thing, we just open the door shut of the power and close the door again so the heat can sanitize the dishes. I don't recall if there is an alert off button though.

My Bosch dishwasher is driving me crazy! When it finishes a wash cycle it beeps twice every 10 minutes until the door is opened. We can't run the dishwasher at night after dinner unless we're SURE we...

Hello there,

It would help to know the model number of the dishwasher, but on many Bosch dishwashers, you can switch the cycle cycle completion signal off as follows:

1. While holding the right-hand CANCEL/DRAIN button, also press and hold the ON/OFF button
2. When the LED above the CANCEL/DRAIN button illuminates and the beeping starts, release both buttons
3. Press the right CANCEL/DRAIN button repeatedly until the beeping tone is at the desired volume, i.e. silent!
4. Press the "ON/OFF" button again to set the volume.

On models with the wash cycle buttons on the top edge of the door, the CANCEL/DRAIN buttons aren't always explicitly labelled CANCEL/DRAIN. These buttons are also labelled RESET on some models.

On models with 3 and 4 wash cycle buttons, the right CANCEL/DRAIN button is the third button when reading from left to right. On models with 5 wash cycle buttons, the right CANCEL/DRAIN button is the fourth button when reading from left to right.

Please try the above then let me know if you need further assistance. Please state the model number or series (i.e. Integra) of your washer if/when replying.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
BElectric

My bosch dishwasher beeps everytime we close the door.

Better switch of till you are ready with full load. Otherwise you have to trace the beeper and disconnect it.

I have a Bosch Exxcel washing machine which is great but it bleeps for ever and a day when the wash is finished. How do I silence the beeps without having to get up?

Switch machine on but do not program.
Press and hold PREWASH button.
After a few seconds it begins beeping.
Keep holding PREWASH button in until beep gets quiet
then eventually stops.
Hope this helps - Colin, Billericay Essex

Very annoying beep when finished programme

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops completely (5-10 secs). Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.
