My bosch dishwasher beeps everytime we close the door.
I've successfully disabled the end-of-cycle beep, but not this close-door beep. in the manual, the beep is supposed to remind you that you haven't pressed start. which doesn't make any sense - sometimes it takes us two days to fully load the dishwasher. every time we put something in the dishwasher and close the door, we get that high pitched beep! please help.

Hello Heather Holley - The signal will sound when the cycle ends and briefly every five minutes as it is a reminder to remove the load. For this purpose, unfortunately the buzzer signal cannot be disable. Most of this brands laundry centers and microwaves are preset to do this.
Buzzer The end of a program and faults can be announced by a buzzer tone. The buzzer at the end of a program sounds five times in intervals with a brief break in between. The buzzer sounds up to one hour if the dishwasher is not turned off. The buzzer for a fault sounds continuously. The buzzer sounds for up to two minutes if the dishwasher is not turned off or the fault is fixed. The buzzer is activated by default. It can be set to off, so it does not sound at the end of a program. The buzzer for a fault cannot be set to off. ^ Open the door. ^ Turn the dishwasher off o. ^ Press the program button and at the same time turn the dishwasher on g. Hold the program button until the lower right program indicator comes on. If it does not come on, start over. ^ Press the program button briefly four times. The "Intake/Drain" indicator flashes 4 times in intervals. The upper right program indicator shows if the program end buzzer is turned on or off. - Upper right program indicator flashes: Buzzer is turned on - Upper right program indicator is off: Buzzer is turned off it is not easy to disable the buzzer. you have to hold the buttons down exactly the way it tells you to in the manual. you also have to pay attention to the lights and make sure they are flashing the proper sequences. try it two or three times. you will eventually get the hang of it. not sure where you live, but the miele techs have a computer that allows them to disable the beeper if you are unsuccessful. the proceedure is copied below.
^ To change the setting, press the program button until the "Intake/Drain" indicator lights. ^ Press the program button briefly three times. The setting is saved. ^ Turn the dishwasher off o.

To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal...
1. Open the door, hold down the ?Quick Wash?

2. While the light is still blinking, push the ?Quick
? If the machine beeps, then the Cycle
Completion Signal has been enabled.
? When you push the button again and it
doesn?t beep, it means that the Cycle
Completion Signal has been disabled.
3. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of

To Turn Tones Off/On: Touch and hold TIMER SET • START until a tone sounds. Repeat to turn back on.
Timed Cooking (combination oven models only)
To Turn Tones Off/On: Touch and hold COOK TIME until a tone sounds and the lower oven display returns to inactive mode (blank). Repeat to turn back on.
