Try plugging into a different USB port on your computer.

Need to install Brother MFC 210C Fax/Phone/Printer on my computer with Windows 7 Need the driver program

Unfortunatly the full driver and software have not been created for Windows 7 for this particular Machine( mfc-210c)

You can install as printer and basic scanner by simply plugging in the USB cable, windows 7 will install the drivers automatically.

Can't connect my compaq presario Cq4010F-pc to my brother MFC-210C.

There is a specific order in which you have to install the printer. Do not plug in the Brother MFC until the installation software asks you to do so. If you have the software installed. Uninstall it, unplug the printer, and reboot. Then run the installation again, and plug in the printer when asked by the installation guide.

Problem while installing the driver for the MFC-410CN

If the installation stops with the message "plug in your usb cable", there are probably windows drivers that are in the way for Brother's own drivers. To remove them, unplug the machine, close the setup software, go into control panel -> printers.
Rightclick on the "background" and chose "printer server settings", pick the drivers tab. Most likely, the printer is in this list, so you just mark it, delete it and it should be gone. Afterwards, reboot your computer and re-start the installation software, still with the usb cable unplugged. This time, when you get the "plug your usb cable in" message, the installation should proceed when you do so.

Brother MFC-210C INSTALLATION

I had this and got arround it. Here is what I did. I shrunk down the installation window so I could do other things. I went into the control panel, system, hardware, device Manager. Their was a spot marked Other Devices, with USB devices listed, but the computer didn't know what they were. I uninstalled them! and then I did a scan for new hardware. The computer found the printer and continued on with the install.

Reconnecting up Brother mfc215c all in one

This machine MIGHT NOT support vista!

If you run XP you should download the aggressive remover tool and delete all drivers. After restart of pc install mfl-pro suite and wait until software demands the connection to mfc.

Never connect machine to a hub!

It must be connected to pc usb!
