I have a JVC TV AV-56P776 my front screen was broken, and I want to replace it. How do I get the front cover off?

well, unless you are really really lucky and could find the same model at the local tip, you will need to ot\rder and replace the part through a repair center or parts center of sorts, quite costly

SOURCE: Does the JVC AV-56P776 have any kind of lock out on it went thru setup it plays dvd's but not regular tv

if plays DVDs via rear connections what have you got hooked to it for regular tv reception? Hooked to the coax fitting, using antenna or cable or sat with a box or not?

Good news is if it works with DVD set is likely ok and you have some other issue----just need some more information to decide what that issue is.
