First check all the connections. Something as simple as a loose wire will cause your sub to shut down. If all connections are secure, then your coils on the sub itself may have come apart. To test, try pushing in the center of the sub as it is playing. If sound comes out, it's your coils.

Hope this helps.

Why would my pw 350 subwoofer lose all it's power? There are no lights at all or sound, please help!!!

There is probably an internal fuse which you can check with the amp unplugged (unbolt the amp from the woofer, noting all gaskets.) If it's blown, it could have fatigued so just replacing it would fix it, or it may have blown because the amp or power supply failed. If that is the case, a new fuse will blow immediately. I can fix it for you if it has a blown amp or supply. Contact me at [email protected].

Just got a used boat with a JVC KD S590 stereo and a JVC KS AX302 amp. The stereo works fine with the in boat speakers but the tower speakers do not work, I checked them both on another system and they...

take a digital volt meter and check the power cable and ground on the amp to see if you are getting any power . should read 12.5 or more if no power then check fuses and the ground connection

if you have power then replace the equipment that not working

My JVC RX6000VBK does not get the signal from or to my subwoofer.

i had the same problem a few times, they are pretty picky receivers.
first take a look in your settings and make sure none of your speakers are set on large, if they are they automatically shut off the woofer,
2, try the adjust option and crank the bass and throw on the bass boost
3. manually turn the woofer on through the receiver itself
4. try and turn up the woofer itself if is powered
5. try hooking the woofer up to the secondary speaker jacks by bridging it, (positive on left and negative on right for even power)

if none of these options work then the woofer itself may be defective even though it lights up

JVC - Problem connecting a Powered Subwoofer to a Receiver

Have you set speaker setup configuration to SUBWOOFER YES? Also check SUBWOOFER OUT ON/OFF button on the front panel.

Stopped working

I had a similar problem with a jvc 8040. when I replaced the fuse it became very obvious that the b1560 output on the center channel was blown (smoke and sparks, always a dead giveaway). I haven't fixed the center channel yet but simply unplugged the center channel board and removed it from the unit. Now everything works fine except of course the center channel. Pre outs still operate just fine so a slave amp could be used for center channel power, or you could just go and buy a marantz amp; I did and then I realized that I was lucky that the old jvc quit.

Subwoofer not powering up

I could either be the sub or the main unit. The main unit actually sends a signal to the sub to turn it on so if that circuit is bad in the main unit the sub is never going to come on. I've also seen bad cables (You'd be amazed at how stubborn people can be when din connectors don't cooperate).

Subwoofer JVC TH-M606

What system are you using it with, how do you have it connected, when you say the system does not work as a result, does it mean that the system does not power up, or no sound?
