No signal on my Benq DLP630 projector

Hi there, i have a projector, i have tried connecting it to my laptop as well as various others. at first it gives the no signal alert. but then after some fine tuning with the display and resolution settings it comes right. can you please let me know on what the display settings should be and how i sort this problem out. because eachtime i have sorted the problem out it has been by complete accident.
Help me please

Same problem, but I thought with the new BENQ we do not have to use the lap top keys to connect with each other? Should it not auto connect. If not what do you suggest we do besides the tap dance of who is turned on first?

Please make sequences in switching on-turn your laptop on first and projector second-use fn key in combination of either f4-f5-f6-f7-confirm input signal selected(computer).

Why do i have vertical lines on benq projector?

Probably because the signal going into the projector is a different resolution to the panel. The projector has an auto sync feature. But that only helps so far. Try changing the laptop resolution to match the native resolution of the projector (the pixels) and not the maximum resolution.

I bought BenQ MP670 Projector second hand for 100 euro.So my problem is that when iI connected my laptop with my projector via HDMI cable, I got no sound. It is not the cable,I use it to connect my laptop...

Depending on what type of laptop or projector you're using the HDMI me not carry the audio signal. you may want to see what your audio outputs are and try hooking them up in addition to the HDMI

I have connected my Toshiba laptop to a benq PB6210 beamer but cannot get presentation on the screen. I need help

Hi there,

1) Turn off the BenQ power, before connecting your VGA cable to the Toshiba laptop.

2) Once your laptop recognises the BenQ unit, you then need to tell your laptop to send an output signal to the BenQ - you do this by pressing your 'screen output' button (this is usually one of the function keys and you may need to hold the key for 1sec). The output function key can choose either single VGA output, or both laptop screen + VGA output.

How do i get sound out of a benq cx660 projector!

Hi I am Vortash .. you need another connection from the laptop earphones to the audio in on the projector . that would be a 3.5 mm stereo jack to twin phono .. or if you have a line out on the laptop from there , if you do have this connection then you may need to activate the sound input in the menu of the Projector .
hope this is of help Regards Vortash

Not working on my laptop

Hi Jhem,

It definitively sounds like either a Screen resolution or a Screen Refresh rate problem. I would suggest you start at the bottom: set your Screen Resolution to something very low like 800x600 and set the Refresh rate to 60Hz - both in Windows of course - you'll probably have to do this with you regular display attached to you PC first, then connect your BenQ second. Than move your way up to the recommended spec in your BenQ User manual.

Cheers
