Turns on. sounds great. picture is dark and slowly lightens from right to left but leaves a black blob/spider web deal on left. never fully lightens on right side. left always has the black blob/spider web deal

Yellowing leaves and browned tips, although I am not an expert, seem often to indicate over watering but it is reckoned impossible to over water a spider plant due to the origins of the plant which is a sort of a tropical grass used to warm humid conditions of indirect light..
Perhaps it is being under-watered or positioned in direct light. Water it well each time but allow the soil to dry out between waterings and feed occasionally in the growing season. Misting the leaves might help...
If your TV has already fully adjusted in brightness set up?, and there will be no good picture results?...try to adjust the "SCREEN-Screw" at the flyback slowly. If the picture still dark'?. the picture tube has need to rejuvenate.
it was a screen back light failure, the lamp get busted in the upper portion of the panel display. to access this part you will need to remove the back cover using a philip screw driver. the back light is covered with metal shielding.to replaced the back light, be careful in disassembling the cover not to damaged the lcd screen panel.
Sound like a defective z-sustain board. When looking at the back of set with back off its on the far right. It usually has a fuse which will also open when its defective.
Are you in auto mode? If it is manual then it is possible that the settings are not correct for the light. You can look at the meter to see what the camera thinks about the exposure.
It sounds as if your subject is too dark. Does this happen when the area is brightly lit? Does the flash fire?

What kind of o/s[operating system- Windows XP, ME, 98] Was there sound before "someone" did something to it ?Do u have the speakers plugged into the right port [the sound card or the connections in back of the computer that are labeled "sound" or "audio" ? goto the "control panel"\sound icon(picture of speaker) and u will see a menu of things that windows will make a sound if u press the arrow facing right (to play the sound) Touch a action, for an example [windows_exit] and the arrow should turn dark, press the darkened arrow and play that sound. If the arrow does not get dark, u have not installed the program that makes the sound work. Please send me more information, I am trying to grab at spider web strings.......in pitch black night..
