I am looking for a user guide for the SanDisk Sansa 4 gb Blue Portable Media Player (SDMX14R-00 4GB-A57) I can't figure out how to use it and am ready to pitch it out without a user's guide.

How many mb does the sdmx1 mp 3 player have

Theres got to be more to the model number I beleive. I think the model number you gave is the first part of a hole bunch of different ones but if it is a SDMX18R-004GR-A57 then you have SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 1.0" Red 4GB MP3 Player or SDMX18R-004GK-A57 is the same but black and if the R and K in the above is replaced with a B its blue and an I- is Indigo if the 4 in that section where the color is indicated by a letter re[resents a 4 gb memory if that 4 is an 8 it would indicate an 8 gb memory.Hope this is helpful!!!

This model goes to "sleep" quickly by default - pressing any button will wake it up. The button that looks like a house (if the paint didn't get rubbed off already) allows you to go one level higher in the menu tree. Have fun with it.

The size of the memory doesn't affect the operation at all.

Of course, I'm also assuming you meant an English-language manual.
