SOURCE: aiwa xr-ms5 cd recognition problem
If your player won't recognize a disc, make sure the CD is properly loaded and not scratched, and that the lens is clean. Clean the lens. Use only a special CD lens cleaner and follow the instructions carefully. Check the traverse assembly (the metal rod that the laser travels along and the gear that drives it) if CDs aren't recognized or won't play, frequent skipping occurs at random, CDs randomly get stuck in one spot, the player can't find tracks correctly, or cleaning the lens doesn't work. Dust and lint may be interrupting its function. good luck :-)

SOURCE: how do i open the speakers on Aiwa XR-EM50 CD
on most speakers like this you will Pry the Grille Off and the actual speaker drivers can be removed by loosening screws holding them in the enclosure.
SOURCE: what type of cord do
The picture is unclear what size that is but they make adapters for RCA-Stereo-Cable-pair-to-single RCA (Y-adapter) or to smaller 3/16" mono or stereo jacks.
