WRT120N---I keep having to disconnect my linksys, unplug all 3 wires on the back of the router, wait 30 sec...reconnect the router...try to get online...when it works then reconnect the linksys....what am...

Please disconnect and internet link and try to access the the Linsys WRT100 management page and see the logs why the router is loosing the connection. If you dont get anything then it might be some issue on the device. A reset may solve your issue.

Please be aware the if u reset the wireless Router you will loose all your configuration and you have to reconfigure the wireless Router.

Please press the tiny black button at the back/beneath of the wireless Router and keep pressing for 2 minutes. The sys light will start blinking slowly and then rapidly. then release the button and wait for 2 minutes for the device to boot up with factory default settings.

Once you are done you can connect to 192.168.1.1 ip address and it will open the your Linksys Router management web page where you can reconfigure your wireless router again.

Hope this will fix the issue.

Best Regards

My linksys WRT300N router is Not working. The lights are all solid and it wont reset. Please help

Hi, we can hard reset the router for about a minute, powerlight should be blinking the moment we reset the router, if case still all lights are lit but powerlight is solid. We can do these steps:

> Connect computer to router
> Open control panel - network connections - right click local are connection
> Click status and go to support

> Check for IP address, if we have IP: 192.168.1.x IP address on the computer
> Please open command prompt
- (for WinXP) go to start and click run, type cmd
- (for win7 and winVISTA) click start and type on start search cmd
> On the black screen, there is a blinking cursor type ping(space)192.168.1.1
> If we are getting Request timed out - that means router is defective
- if we are getting Reply from responses... then there is a need to upgrade the router...

Keep losing connectivity

What kind of adapter do you have? I was so sick of resetting the thing daily, that I just went and bought another router.

Linksys wireless router has many bugs: connection issues like no connection or constantly having to reset the router. It isn't compatible with many network adapters2.gif. Hope this helps!

Hi my problem is. I hve two computers and I am trying to connect at least one of them wireless. The HP people said I needed to call linksys for the WEP for the router? I have several encrypted keys but...

You need to log into the router. You set the WEP key in the router; Linksys does NOT have access to your WEP key.

If you can log into the router, set the key and copy it down. If you can, use WPA2 encryption (more secure than WEP).

Network Hub or Router - World of Warcraft - NH1005 Linksys

I recommend purchasing a small switch because what it sounds like is that the traffic being generated from and to the two computers and then out to the Internet is killing your hub. A switch would help reduce some of the traffic.
