  • Turn the printer on and confirm that there is paper in the tray. After the new ink cartridges are loaded, the printer will need to run an alignment test. On the front of the printer, above and to the right of the paper tray, there is an access door that swings open sideways. Open the access door. The ink cartridges will move so that they can be reached through the door.

  • Press both print cartridges down until they pop out of their holders. If you will have difficulty remembering each cartridge's position, remove only one at a time. Once a cartridge is popped out of its holder, it can be lifted freely through the access door.

  • Prepare the new ink cartridges for installation by removing them from the packaging and removing the tape from the bottom of each cartridge. Be careful not to touch the delicate metal contacts on the bottom of the cartridges.

  • Install the cartridges by aligning them slightly below the holders, then pushing them up and forward until they snap into place. Close the access door when you are finished. A test sheet will begin printing to check the alignment of the cartridges.

  • Open the lid of the scanner and place the test page face down on the scanner bed. The upper-left corner of the test page should line up with the arrow in the corner of the scanner bed.

  • Push the "Scan" button on the printer control panel. The scanner will scan the test page into the printer's memory, which will then be used to make any alignment adjustments that are necessary. The printer is ready to use when the test is complete

How to change fuel hose and filter on stihl 038 chainsaw

A hooked piece of wire through the gas cap will allow you to withdraw and remove the filter. A typical fuel system and a couple of suggestions follow:
    http://www.fixya.com/support/r3706813-2_cycle_fuel_system_repair

At this point I like to provide an IPL that displays all fuel components and makes a good disassembly guide. Stihl considers all OE parts, IPLs and shop manuals proprietary. When they find an on-line source they force it be removed. Please contact them and request an IPL here:

When they decline your request Please file a complaint.

I need to replace the power cord on the poulan es300 and the case does not come apart very easily

There is 1 other 300S model , do not it is significantly different.

I recommend you open the attached IPL (300S-14) and use it as a disassembly/reassembly guide. I think the "General Assembly" print has the detail you need. If it were my project I might snap some photos as things progress just to refresh my memory when putting it all back together.

All saws can be found here (Alpha Numeric order; yours - right column about halfway down):

Need size of guide bar nut on model cs-330t

I went here, typed CS-330T in the search bar and found 6 IPLs. None of them list or display bar nuts. Odd!
    EchoUSA
    http://www.echo-usa.com/documentation.asp
I suggest you take your saw into your local NAPA Auto Parts store. You might also contact Echo and suggest they add bar nuts to their IPLs for the benefit of the next guy. HTH

How to install a new tension screw on a husqavarna 365

I have never done this but with the IPL as a guide it looks pretty simple.
Use care; it is easy to trigger the chain brake and is most difficult to reset with the cover off the saw.
Remove the clutch cover (brake off)
Husqvarna 365 IPL example (may not be your saw)
    http://weborder.husqvarna.com/order_static/doc/usa/1999/I99000/I9901064.PDF
    Detail A (clutch cover)
    remove 2 each - 503 21 28-10* screws
remove 537 01 68-01, all parts now accessible.

    Find your IPL here:
    HusqvarnaUSA.com
    http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – for use with IPL
    06 1500198
    06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
    15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

    Cartridge error

Error 1203 is a very interesting error which normally means that your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges after a several prints or right after you refilled the catridges.

Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the catridge.

    Solution:
I use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again.
The refill ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

To reset the error code, disconnect the power cord from the wall. Also remove the power brick from the back of the printer for 60 seconds. Then connect everything again.

Please let me if this information helped.

Please rate me if you are haapy with the solution.

Need a replacement guide bar for a Model 106821 A Remington pole chain saw.

I found an operator's manual but it doesn't include an IPL. I wasn't able to find any IPL for this item. I'd suggest you try the manufacturer here:

Trying to replace gear on echo cs 440 chain saw and not sure how to remove old gear

The IPL for a model 400 Echo can be found here:
    http://www.echo-usa.com/pdf/documentation/CS400_C090_11_081007.pdf
It should not matter but please verify this fits your serial number.
From the IPL your saw has an outboard clutch. Use this the following as a guide. I didn't see any special tools on the IPL.

    R² Drive Link Outboard Clutch
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdqkIuVNUQc
    1. Check at the IPL for your saw to see if any special tools are needed.
    2. A length of starter cord or nylon rope may be used instead of the piston stop (retain 6" ± so you can remove it). Make sure the piston is near the top of the cylinder before feeding the cord or it can fall through the exhaust port and damage the piston as it rises.
    3. It is probably a left handed thread (tighten it to loosen it).
Let us know how it worked for you. GL
