Hello,
Thx so much for ur immediate response, i followed the steps as u stated but the "palm powered" logo didnt come up not until ik release both the power n reset buttons. Please is there any other method.Thx again
Hi,
not as far as I know I don't have an e2 (just an older palm) but I did check the E2 manual and the instructions were the same.
With mine there is a bit of a knack to timing it right.
If its like mine you hold the power button and keep holding it while you press and release the reset button while still holding the power button until the logo comes up then release the power button. You also need a good charge in the battery.
Give it another go and I will have a look around the forums to see if there is another way or any tips...

"Blue Pill" seems to have the ability to hard reset a device if you can still install things http://palmpowerups.com/readarticle.php?...
the official palm site information

Im not sure if its the same with the e2 but if i leave my Palm to go totally flat it eventually loses all the data and returns to default settings (which is why I now have a pocket PC.. :) )

you can try the following steps
if the screen is still unresponsive try to restart the iphone by following these steps
if restarting does not work, try resetting the iphone
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds or until you see the apple logo appears
if your screen becomes responsive, try to reset the settings by going to the settings of y ur iphone then general then reset and reset all. after this, restore the files on your iphone through itunes
