My ps3 is only about 7 months old. Got it around Christmas time from my dad. When i bought GTA IV yesterday i tried to play it. It froze up so i tried to restart. It didnt work . It would say " Error: Problem Starting System" Or something like that. What should i do?
You need to go to system seting and restore the whole computer it takes like 3 to 4 hours cos its updatin the whole system then u will have to insert game again and it will come up that theres a new version to upload and it doesnt take long for that then yer game will work.

Hi, there are a couple of things you can try. First is to make sure that the disc is clean and secondly is to delete any of the GTA IV datafiles that may have been partially installed. To delete the game data go to "Game Data Utility" folder under "Games" in the XMB locate GTA IV and hit the triangle button for "Options" and then select "Delete".
The same problem happened to me yesterday, i was playing GTA IV then it suddenly stopped reading, and now i have a real hard time making one ps3 game work...the ps2 and psONE games work fine, but the ps3 ones dont load or take real hard work to make them load.
