First of all may be all the sources you are copying from are corrupt try changing to another source, if it persist then Restart the device... Or try to reduce work stored on it

Re-install printer driver or get driver update

Yes it does work on HP C309g-m if you place a cartridge one by one as follow:
1- open the cover
2- replace an original hp cartridge by the compatble non hp cartridge
3-unplug the printer
4- close the cover
5-plug printer back on
6- press ok to all messages
7-repeat from step 1 to 6 above for each new non hp cartridge

Yes that is unfortunately true, if it is out of warranty they won't be able to replace the printer. However, it can be traded for upgrade for an HP factory reconditioned printer for a lesser cost.

I think you may need to use the proprietary HP software for either of your all-in-one's.

Unplug the power from the printer.
Press the # key and the 6 at the same time and hold them down
connect the power while continuing to hold down these keys
wait for a message about a semi-nvm reset or something like that to appear on the screen, and then release the buttons. If the unit shuts down while you are pressing the buttons, release them, and press power just long enough to turn the unit on.

If the printer does not react normally after this, post a reply here.

Make sure you aren't using too much or too little regular paper when printing. This will cause a paper jam error code at times.
