A CPU is specifically designed to work as a certain frequency. Some motherboards allow overclocking to speed up the clock frequency and allow the CPU to operate faster. The faster the CPU operates the more heat it will generate.
When a CPU overheats, it will shutdown - this is called thermal shutdown and if this is allowed to continue, the CPU will eventually fail.

I have a heart freedom20 inv. batt. chger that runs at 120 hertz .It does everything (charges switches etc.just fine bu the ac output is at 120 hertz instead of 60.

First check the voltage, if the voltage is good then check the hertz with a different meter because if the hertz went up to 120 everything onboard should have burnt out. The hertz works on the low voltage side of 120vac. before going to a repair shop first check the hertz meter. Good luck.

My Nesspresso machine is a U.S. Version machine and uses 120VAC 60 hertz power input, and it is used on a private aircraft using a 120 VAC 60 hertz power converter. When plugged in an turned on the small...

I don't know if you already solved the problem, but did you check what the maximum output power of your aircraft is? The nespresso machine needs about 1250 Watts, which is a lot of power. A vacuum cleaner or microwave use less power than that (maybe between 800 - 1000 Watts). Maybe that difference is the reason. Also, you mentioned that you converted from 220V 50Hz to 120V 60Hz. I think you only converted the voltage, a frequency converter would cost thousands of dollars.

I took my truck to the dealer and they diagnosed the problem as a failed heater box actuator door. Can you explain what this is and what i need to do.

the heater box actuator door is a flap that allows air to travel through the heater core. you may be able to get at it from the underside of the dash on the passenger side. you may be able to manually move the door from there. good luck. hope this helps.

I just bought a new motherboard; basically new everything, well on my old motherboard there was a CPU and on this newer better motherboard there is not a CPU. Do I need to got one? What is a CPU exactly?

first, make sure that the new mother board support the old Processors, ask the M.Board supplier about it (or google it) , and make sure you know the old processors type.If you wasn't really sure, just remove the old Processor from old M.Board, then check for the ID (such as Pentium 4, Pentium D, etc ) on top of the processor.

If the new M.Board support the Processors, then you can re use the old processors, if don't, then you don't have a choice, buy the new one that match with the new M.Board specifications.

Hope you understand.

We have a super holeshooter (cat.#1854-1)120v AC/DC. What hertz will this machine operate on? The brand is Milwaukee.

Hello. American made tools are made to operate on 60 hertz, but they will operate on 50 hertz. Given a choice, such as when operating off of a generator, select 60 hertz.
