Is the inverter configured for correct type of batteries? Did inverter come with temperature sensor what should be connected to battery to prevent overheating? Are batteries in good condition, acid level, clean posts etc?

One output leg is dead.
if there is no extraordinary load your breaker may just be worn out. Unless you know what your'e doing don't mess around in the box! Get a electrician.

Appears to not be charging
Anytime external AC is being applied, the unit passes that AC input through to the output, independent of inverter/charger status. If external AC power is available but the unit is not charging (i.e. the Charge light is lit, but the batteries are not charging up as they should), then there is likely a problem with the AC sensing circuit card inside the unit, with a 1/4 amp fuse and/or the AC transformer the most probably culprits. Without external AC, the inverter will function all the way down to 10V, but then will shut off, so as long as your batteries have not been totally depleted, the unit will still be able to produce 110 AC after a brief charge cycle, but it won't for long.

Inverter will not shut down. I turn off the remote
depends on the serial # of your inverter.... the inverter switch on the machine should be turned off and controlled by your remote. If the switch is on at the machine, the remote won't control that part of it.

Freedom 20 Inverter/Charger Overload will not reset.
When I switch my Freedom inverter on it shows E02 fault Low battery voltage. I have had the batteries tested and they are okay.
When I plug into the mains to charge batteries the Chrgeheart interphase shows charging light but nothing happens No current.
If anyone could advise I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
