Possibly ripped the wires from switch or broke the wires in the cord itself. You can go to Makitatools.com for a breakdown on this tool, but would have to guess at the above.

My Samsung HL-P6163W loses its picture but the audio still works. I thought maybe the lamp was bad so I purchased a new lamp. After I installed new lamp it still will not work. I can see it trying to turn...

It's possible that the lamp connector (usually attached to the ballast module) has bad contacts. I had a similar problem that I solved by polishing the contacts with a strip of Scotch-Brite metal polishing fabric wrapped lengthwise around a small screwdriver. Note: I don't like to use sandpaper for this; it will remove the plating on the contacts and make it more likely that the problem will happen again soon.

The Target wet saw TA10100 is shutting down immediately after starting up. Anyone know the part that is causing this. We have replaced the off/on switch and repaired a wire to the switch with new conn

check where your power cord goes inside the saw to the motor. All that wrapping the cord around to pack it up sometimes works it loose. Other wise id take it to a elec motor shop for a new motor, Last one i got i think it was $40 installed. Targets arent' cheap so its worth just putting a new elec motor in it.

My dsi xl wont charge unless i wrap the cord TIGHTLY around it and now that wont work.

Your cord has a short in it. Wrapping the cord in ANY way, even around itself for safekeeping, slowly deteriorates the cord.

I want to replace the cord/plug is it easy?

Malibu power packs are 1-piece units that can't be taken apart.
However you can cut off the cord and leave about 4-6" of cord sticking out, and then splice into the cord that's sticking out.

Usually I buy heavy orange or black extension cord with male-female plugs on each end.
I cut off female end and use that end to splice into the cord that's sticking out.

How to splice wire.
Use knife and slice down the cord lengthwise... just cut through the outer plastic covering.
Pull the outer cover cover back to reveal black and white wires.
Cut off extra cover.
Cut back insulation on each black and white wire.
Now you have 2 black wires and 2 white wires/
Twist together the copper wire on whites and cover with plastic electrician tape.
Do the same with copper wires on blacks.
Now the blacks are joined/ and whites are joined, and each has tape over copper wire.
Wrap black tape around both sets of wires until all the black and white is covered with several wraps of tape.
That's it. Plug it in.

Stopped working...is it a fuse wrapped around the power cord that could be faulty?

no that is a graphite ferrol just to cut down noise it may receive from other devices. check the voltage with a meter on the power supply. If it plugs direct into a/c from the wall, the power board is most likely bad in printer. then it's a throw away.

Rockband microphone not working

Well, wrapping the cord around the controller has been known to damage the cords that allow the console to read the messages sent out by the controller. You may have damaged it. I've never heard of any way to fix this.

Mx35 no power

Hi, can you use a multimeter? If so then check on the power suply what the voltage output should be for that unit. Then with the power turned on GREAT CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN AT THIS STAGE AS TESTING THE WRONG END COULD CAUSE ELECTROCUTION use the meter to test the laptop end plug only and see what power output you have. If you can not do this then take the power supply to a technician and have it tested. If ok = dead battery, if not replace power unit. Regards mistyman
