I will now answer my own question. I found the part which resolved the problem. The capacitor which cost about $15.00 has resolved the issue.

Check where your power cord goes inside the saw to the motor. All that wrapping the cord around to pack it up sometimes works it loose. Other wise id take it to a elec motor shop for a new motor, Last one i got i think it was $40 installed. Targets arent' cheap so its worth just putting a new elec motor in it.

The bearings in your saw need to be replaced. I would contact a DeWalt store to obtain the parts or have them do the repair. You have an excellent saw there, well worth repairing. good luck.

SOURCE: Tile Saw Troubleshooting

if your blade is newer or even well used, one way to make it cut better is find a used brick or a piece of a concrete block and cut through them, what really works best is a carborundum stone that setters use to hone cut edges of tile, you can get 1 at any tile store or home depot for 5 bucks. another trick is to lightly pull up on the table towards end of cut, if they keep breaking at end of cut, and you have the gauge set simply flip tile up side down and start your cut then back it off flip it over and cut through. all saw cuts leave minor chips on cut edge, we always stone cuts. cutting a brick cleans debris off blade. MAKE SURE WATER IS PRESENT WHEN CUTTING

SOURCE: tile saw not cutting straight

Sometimes a blade that is set deep enough will walk in this manner, especially if it is a thin kerf blade like the MK Hotdog blade.

Also, a blade which has worn unevenly will do this too.

I can't find any good source of manual of your saw. I wish I can help you. I don't know kevlar band. Try calling the technical rep of the manufacturer. They should be able to assist you with that.

We are currently experiencing a problem with the target TA10100 wet saw. It will start up and immediately shutdown. The local authorized tool repair said that the part encased on the top of the Baldor motor is called a capacitor. we have yet to find out if this is the cause of the problem. Hope the information helps you because so far it hasn't helped us.

After riding a short time the engine kicks out turns off. Shortly after, I am able to turn the engine back on with key. I have a HD, 2000 Heritage Softail Classic.

after it shuts off, are you able to turn the engine over as if trying to start it? does it just turn over and not fire? or will it turn over at all? if it does turn over after it shuts off, immediately pull the plugs and check for spark. and also see if the plugs are wet with fuel.

Wobble blade /rough cuts

You may wanna check the Conveyor Cart Wheel. Replacing this wheel maintains smooth rolling action which contributes to straight, chip-free cuts.

It costs for only about $28.72. Here, you may check this link if you wish to buy the Conveyor Cart Wheels:

http://www.diamond-blades.net/target_tile_saw_access.html

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any service center where you can bring your Target Tile saw for repair. But you may check the manufacturer's contact number on the user's manual.

Have a great day!

How do I change the saw blade?

i have been doing tile over 20 years, I've never seen a blade that wont come off , on a great saw like target,or any other professional saw. that saw has a 10 in blade, inspect by lifting the blade gaurd so you can see the nut holding blade on, take a cresent wrench put it on the nut hold the blade with ur left hand and hit the wrench with a rubber mallet. It will come rite off,the nut does not have to be super tight, because it could warp the blade when cutting tile and it puts pressure on the bearing, inspect the motor by turning it on without water pumping it should be pretty quiet,it has a baldor 1 1/2 hp motor awsome motor.good luck

1997 Crown Vic blows radio fuses

The quickest way to find a short circuit is by putting a bulb in place of the fuse. Anytime the time the bulb lights there is a load. And if the load is a shorted wire the brightness of the bulb will give you a hint. So while you're at it, finding a 'short' is a quicky...keep your eyes on the bulb. gotcha!
