I have a Malibu transformer 8100-0200-01, all the lights stay on no matter what the switch position is in, even off. I have unplugged the unit and waited trying to reset but problem still exists. Any

The digital transformer has 5 year warranty.Otherwise plug power pack into cheap wall timerhttp://waterheatertimer.org/Malibu-power-pack-stopped-working.htmlDon't buy digital. This type timer can be easily knocked out with simple power outage. Also bulb outages and cord problems and moisture and probably direct sun can affect digital more easily than analog. We have a Malibu 300 low wattage transformer for 13- 20 watt landscape lights.

Try connecting a lamp (correct voltage, etc) directly to the transformer. Most likely, the wire from the transformer to your lights is broken... The reset button can't reset anything, if there's nothing wrong there.

Schematic malibu 8100-9120-01

http://waterheatertimer.org/Malibu-power-pack-stopped-working.html I don't think they post schematic for the transformer But generally, the primary coil receives 120Volt AC input from household electrical outlet And the secondary coil produces 12Volt AC output for the low voltage lights. The 'coil' is a coil of insulated wire wrapped around a metal core. Two coils set side by side create a transformer... when primary is energized, the secondary responds to the magnetic field caused by primary core... resulting in a current that flows on the secondary coil. Output voltage on secondary coil is determined by the number of wraps and diameter of wire. Some transformers offer a choice of secondary output... Kichler for example... you can select 12-13-14-15 Volt AC output This is achieved by the way the secondary coil is wrapped.... for less voltage a wire is tapped at one point on the coil... for more voltage, a wire is tapped at another point on coil. This gives the user several wire choices to connect the lights. Gene If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gene_9f0ef4df2f9897e7

I have a 600w transformer and it have 2 300w

There are two sets of terminals on the 600 watt x-former. If you have two 300 watt circuits, use one 300 W circuit on one output, and the other 300 W circuit on the other output. Use terminals A & B on each side. Each circuit will have 12 volts. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/craig_3fa289bf857b1a3c
