Hi Bob just read your posting.I am afraid your gearbox is leaking oil into the water .This means to repair the machine your gearbox needs reconditioning or replacement and also the main shaft seal will need replacing.I am putting this posting as a clarification request because my brand of expertise is FISHER@PAYKEL but I have some experience with SPEED QUEEN and KLEENMAID,which are the same machine only different names.Posting this reply as a clarification request will still leave your posting up in the washing machine area for other experts to hopefully help you further. But I am 100% sure that your gearbox needs repairing. Please reply if you need further help or information from me.Good luck.<br />
I have the same problem, oid streaks are evident in the bottom of the bowl in the final spins. How do you remove the gearbox and does the agitator need to be removed? I have noticed the that agitator has movement when in place (having difficult working out how to remove this as there is no 7/16" nut thru the top) and moves off centre a good deal, does this also mean the hub and bearings need repairs?
