Hey Vilma,
Try working through this document to see if it helps get you back online: Blinking Power Light Let me know if this fixes the issue. HP Printer Support
try to reinstall drivers for printer and if not working reinstall software that came with it. u can also go to hp.com and download newest drivers for ur printer. also make sure wires are connected properly and that ur pc detects it.
Since I'm not sure which exact model you have (there are seven in the 3900 series), I picked the 3920 and provided the link for it. Simply click on this link. Then, pick your Operating System. Lastly, you should be able to download drivers and/or software direct from HP's website.
I hope this helps. If it does, please rate the solution offered. My goal is always FixYa or Helpful, never TFT or IA. Regards, Char1ieJ
the Sensores on your printer are not recognising the paper, either the sensor has dirt on it or jiggle sensor a little and this should solve your problem if not let me know.
Your printer's manual is here:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00392271.pdf
Look under Troubleshooting/Power Light is flashing.
It's in pdf format, so I can't copy the relevant info, but it sounds like a simple problem.
