IF you have an audio jack plugged-in, it won't turn the FM transmitter on, so UNPLUG the audio jack, then go to the MENU and you will see the FM frequencies to select. Okay? Let me know if any more questions.
Under menu, select FM frequency. Try using different frequency. A nearby FM station could be bleeding its signal onto the FM frequency your unit is using by default.
You need to find a clear radio frequency in your area then in the SIRIUS sat radio you will find a FM transmitter frequency adjustment menu. set it to the same as your fm radio and your all set.
is this a skyfi 1 2 or 3. if its a two or three if you go to the menu button and scroll down to fm frequencys and select that from the drop down menu. then scroll through the built in frequencies and determine which one comes in the clearest. if its a skyfi one then your gonna have to put in a wired fm modulator because the first one doesnt come with a wireless fm transmitter.
At the main menu press settings
press FM Transmitter
Turn transmitter on by pressing off. Will change to On
Press the Frequency button. Than change the frequency to one that doesnt have a radio station.
All sounds from the GPS will now be transmitted to the frequency set. Make sure your FM radio is set to the same frequency.
With my one vehicle this option does not work very well & is full of static because my radio entenna is at the rear of the car. The GPS only transmits a couple of feet.
You should be able to go to the menu on your unit as long as there is not a plug in the audio out socket, and it should give you the FM Frequency option. If you remove the plug from the audio out, you will want to power the unit off and back on to get the FM option to appear when you push the menu button.

Basically, you just need to have the antenna unplugged when you power up, and push menu right away, then select. Not sure why, but it worked on all of my Roady XTs. On the oldest one I had to push menu more than once. Good luck!
