Crosley Professional Washer. Why is my washer stopping at beginning of fill cycle?

Question edited for clarity. 'field cycle' to fill cycle.

Do you hear water running? Water inlet valve failed.

or

Taking too long to fill. Check the strainers in the rear where the hose connects and check water flow from the hose.

Also try a power disconnect overnight to do a power reset of the control board.

=============================================
If the cold water supply is slow or not entering the tub at all, the washer will stop ahead of the rinse cycle while waiting for the tub to fill. This can be caused by a clogged water inlet valve, the main water supply valve being partially closed, or low water supply pressure from the home.

What is the probable cause of an LE code?

Most washers give it a certain amount of time to fill up with water and if it doesn't sense it has filled up with enough water after that time it will stop the washer. This is done as a safety so your washer won't flood your house. First thing to check is that the washer is filling up with hot and cold washer correctly, and that the water is coming into the washer at a good rate. The hot water valve has one solenoid, but the cold water has three solenoids (more to go bad). A clogged or failed water valve is the most common thing that we see cause this type of a problem.

Water level drops below the reset level during the wash or rinse portion of the cycle. Check for leaks in the washer tub and connected components. Check the installation of the drain system. Water can siphon out of the washer if it's not installed properly.

Whirlpool washer will not cut on or run water into it but still will spin out.

Hello, we're sorry to hear about your Washer. We recommend disconnecting power from the breaker for at least a minute and then turning the breaker back on to do a master reset on the Washer. If you are in need of help after trying the reset, can you please email us your address, phone number, the model and serial number, the website you were contacted on, Fixya, your review ID, and date of purchase to [email protected]?

All of a suden the 20 amp circute breaker in the service panel was thrown. I only had the washer running on that circut. i HEARD A POPING SOUND WHEN THIS happened I thought it was the sound of the breaker...

Check you motor coupler by tilting machine back so you can get under. Look under machine, around where the center of the machine was. If you see a black powder, you most likely have a bad coupler. You may even find pieces of black rubber.

Washer stopped working

To help you with this problem I need you to do something. Place the machine in spin cycle and see if it will pump the water out. Also, lift the lid and look at the back. There should be a model/serial number plate. This information would help.

I do not believe the motor is at fault. I suspect a bad motor coupler. If the machine willpump the water out then I am Sure.
