C643 The screen has a black spot in the lower right corner and will not light up.It has not been dropped or mishandled. Working fine and then this black ghost showed up with the camera turned off. Batteries are up. Before it quit completely it had a very thin lighted line at the bottom of the lcd.I have only taken about ten pictures with this camera.

Those Rear LCD TVs get bad light engine on some. Causes fuzzy spots size of quarter. Or sharp small bright spots looks like road map or 'stars'. Need new/rebuilt light engine.

Sounds like the spots are on your sensor. If on the lens, it would be too out of focus to matter.

It is the LCD itself failing, no repair for the LCD itself, the screen will need to be replaced. Likely cheaper to replace the entitr monitor

one of the floresant bulbs has fail there is a place in Haverhill Ma called Tops Electronics that can fix you up really quick but you will have to ship it to them they do good work there

yes go to like a camera store a get a replacement to be installed and by the way your led screen is broke

How long have you owned it? Mine did the same thing. It was a dead spot which got worse. It was just past warranty (of course) but I took it back to Home Depot & they worked with me to get it replaced. Unfortunately, I think this is your only hope. The monitor dept. told me that once they get dead spots there is nothing you can do for them. Wish the news was better.

Is it a fuzzy spot or an actual hard edged black spot?LCD televisions can have a loss of pixel display- most very small. Was the TV hit with something or dropped against something (the screen)?

• Closed-captioning might be on. Check the Analog or Digital Caption option in the Setup menu.

i just got a new camera the dimagne x50
and i brang it out today and it was working fine it didnt drop or anything
i took a picture then turned it off then i turned it on agian and when it was on the camera format the light kept on blinking yellow for the longest time and wouldnt let me take a picture so i tried the video format and it worked so im just wondering why the video format is working and not the camera ?
has this happened to you? is there any way of fixing it?
