If you are using windows go to the start menu. Go to settings, printers and faxes. Open the printer window. Highlight the job and from the menu click on document and then clear. Reboot your printer and you should be good. If you cant clear the job disconnect the printer and try again. Rebooting will help the computer is all else fails.

SOURCE: wont let me cancel a pending document

I used to have the same issue. It happened on five different occasions. I tired all kinds of steps to fix it and none worked. Finally, my daughter fixed it for me by accident. She tripped over the plug to the computer. After it restarted, I canceled the document, and it worked perfectly. After that, i knew what to do. Hope this helps@

SOURCE: HOW WILL I UNPAUSED MY PRINTER?

There should be a printer icon in the notification area. You can double-click on that to bring up the printer status. If the icon is not there, you can go to Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and double-click on your printer. The first item in the print queue should be listed as paused. Right-clock on it and select Resume from the context menu.

My HP Laserjet 3050 frequently pauses when I try to prints PDF documents, but everything else seems allright. This is causing a problem and when the printer is trying to load the document it is like it...

When you select your printer from Acrobat you need to click on the advanced tab on the lower left of the print driver window and set it to print as graphic. This will speed up printing dramatically.

What does it mean that printer is on "pause"

This means that print jobs sent to the printer will not print untill the printer is unpaused. This setting is used mainly for maintenance purposes.

To unpause a printer
1.) Left click Start in the bottom left hand corner of the screen
2.) Left click Control Panel
3.) Now, double-click "Devices and Printers" or "Printers and Faxes"
4.) In the Window you will see your printer, double-click your printer
5.) This screen will show you active print jobs, to pause or unpause the printer click File then click "Pause printing"

Hope this helps :)

All connections work and icon shows that print is ready but no print

Under your printers and faxes. make sure that the print jobs arent paused. If there is print jobs waiting, try to unpause them if paused. Otherwise remove all the pending print jobs, restart your PC and make sure all the print jobs are cleared. Then give it another go.
