Hey If you have tried Using remote and side pannels Have you tried another TV to see if its the Cable? Also The clicking sound is normal its the TV's Power-source starting. The fan light I am not sure of but if it happens every-time it should be normal. If the screen gets warm Instantly (Hotish) Then you TV is dead D:

Samsung HDTV no picture no sound

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. The dots cannot be rectified, static dots of this kind on an LCD panel are dead pixels or liquid cristal leaks, depending on their hape and aspect.

The only fix is by replacing the LCD panel, that is an expensive part and must be ordered by phone, as it is not normally in stock.

Red Dots on My Plasma.

Did you get this problem resoslved? I had the same issue a few months ago. I tech came by and took my TV to the shop, a few days later he said it was fixed as they needed to make some adjustments.....The TV has been fine up until a week or so ago and now the red dots have appeared again. Was wondering what happened to yours.

Yes! Call Samsung and complain. I did it today and they are offering some kind of 1-time free service if it is indeed a capacitor problem. Must be so widespread that they're offering free service calls to fix it!!

This problems it pretty simple to repair without the cost of a tv Technician labors cost add it to the tv.Take the tv aparts.It the power supply board,that the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Maybe theres a defect in the board,causing not to osolate the power, maybe theres a shorted parts in the board., you need a qualified technician to fix your problem.
