Easiest way to find it for any dvd cd rom drive:
open the device manager
(F1 type "device manager" there will be a link to open that up)
find your CD drive in the tree and open properies.
it will tell you who manufactured the drive and what model number the drive claims to be (might be differant than the sticker)
google the manfacture and they are required to keep archives of all the devices they make.
if your using a more modern version of windows you can tell windows to use a differant driver from the properties page of the device. usually an atapi drive will work with a generic atapi driver from microsoft.
