Monitor HP 1720 Part n.325113-001

The screen is cracked and I would like to replace it. Can you tell me the cost of a screen. I don't want to replace the whole monitor as it would be too expensive

Your actually thinking about it the wrong way.
Replacing the screen in LCD's is more expensive then replacing the monitor. Stupid I know, but that is how they ensure you have to keep upgrading. Same thing applies to a laptop motherboard for the same reason.

You do still have one small light at the end of the tunnel though.
Check around on eBay or similar and you maybe able to find a complete monitor with a dead power board that you can salvage the screen from. Do a search for words like Faulty, broiken, not working in the computer section.

Hope that helps. =)

Cracked akoya s4209 screen

You can likely get a new screen there usually around £80 upwards there maybe a link on you- tube telling you how to replace it depends on how good you are with doing your own repairs of take it in for repair though with the cost and labour it may be worth just investing in a new machine or you could plug it in to an external monitor or a TV with a VGA or HDMI connection.

If your laptop screen is cracked or broken.... its either you buy a new screen and replace it because its not repairable..... or you use an external monitor that is if you have one, and connect the VGA cable to your laptop.............

HP 2009m LCD monitor is cracked.

I would buy a new monitor. Unless you have some prior experience with replacing screens, the labor outweighs the price of a new monitor.

Samsung Cracked Screen

You no longer have a TV but a parts unit. In most cases, It will cost more to replace the screen than buying a new TV set. Although it is cracked, it still has some value, don't toss it in the dump. Throw that puppy on Craigslist or Ebay(if you have the shipping box) someone will be interested and buy it. Just be realistic with your asking price. Don't be like some lady I encountered who wanted $350 for her Dynex 42" LCD with a cracked screen !!!

Need a replacement LCD

Yes you can go to any tv engineer tell him to replace crt (picture tube) if he agree then purchase new picture tube and replace it if only cabinate is brocken then replace cabinate take care that the reparing cost will not exceed monitors cost if you are a engineer then while reparing yoke coil connect properly it can fit only right not reverse

Cracked face panel on monitor

Yes, the LCD screen "face panel" can be replaced. However, note that this part is the most expensive part of the monitor. If your monitor is more than a year or two old, it may be difficult to find a replacement and it may be more cost effective to simply replace the whole monitor.

Display crack

Honestly it may cost less just buying a new laptop. Screens can cost more than a new laptop =[

You can use an external monitor if you do not plan on moving the laptop around too much.

Broken Elo Monitor Screen

Touch screens are even more expensive that straight LCD panels. This repair may cost more than the original monitor. Why do you need another panel? Is the panel cracked or is the touch screen portion not working correctly?
