Display crack Hi, i hit my laptop with a shoot of a softgun, and my screen cracked. How can i get a new glas for it...because the LCD still perfect, just the glass protection had broken. thanks.

    dropped it and glass broke still see screen but need to replace glass. is it possible?

Honestly it may cost less just buying a new laptop. Screens can cost more than a new laptop =[

You can use an external monitor if you do not plan on moving the laptop around too much.

The digitlizer screen is cracked but the picture shows and I was wondering if there was some way to work around the Crack until I can get it fixed
To answer your question we need to know what functionality you have lost. If you can not use the touchscreen at all due to the damage, then it will come down to whether your device will support an external mouse or something similar. But your best bet is going to be to replace the display as soon as possible. If the display is cracked but still currently readable, it is only going to get worse, as the LCD fluid leaks through the display portion of the tablet.

tha't an easy task to handle
See the pictures below
if your whole screen shows an image and the cracks are in front of it then its just a cracked digitiser
if you dont see the whole image and tyou see horizontal and vertical line or an image like spilled liquid then your Lcd is also cracked too

Cracked screen
Usually it's just the "Digitizer" that needs to get replaced. If you can read everything on the screen (no LARGE areas of just black) then the LCD panel is still OK.

Unfortunately, if the display is cracked, you will need to take your daughter's tablet to be serviced by a repair technician. Otherwise, you will not be able to see anything on its screen or make the touch matrix work.

Hi, if no longer under warranty? a replacement screen is only option. Is the main lcd panel cracked also, i.e. bleeding in display when pressed?
