Panel reads lp error code

LP: This code means "Low Pressure" or low pressure switch. Either the outside ambient temperature is below 50°F (38°F

LP is an error message refering to the low pressure switch. For more information about it please refer to hayward-pool.com/pdf/manuals/Manual122

The LP is for low pressure of the refridgerant. Your pump coils are either frozen, or the switch pressure switch is bad, or you are just low on refridgerant.

TE error code stands for thermistor error. You have to remove the front panel and ohm out the heating element. If you have continuity most likely it will be fine. There is a thermistor located next to the heating element that will probably need to be replaced. LG's are the only machine besides GE ref's that I have ever seen thermistors go bad on. There is probably an ohm reading you should get through the thermistor but unless you have an analog meter or a fluke most standard digitals wont read into mega-ohms. Removing the front panel is model specific. But i can tell you the spring around the front boot (drum gasket) needs to be removed and there will be some hidden screws at the bottom by the pump where the access panel is located.

I happen to work for Rome Industries and can help you out. The "LP" code on your control board represents "Low Pressure". This is referring to the refrigerant pressure within the unit. The unit is equipped with a low pressure safety switch that when activated shuts the unit down. This could be caused by a refrigeration leak, a stuck thermal expansion valve, or even a faulty pressure switch. If you live within the state of Florida contact Rome Industries and you will receive a free of charge service call including parts and labor as long as your unit is under warranty. Do you have power to the heater?If you do then I would look for a hi limit switch to reset.It might be the pump you have to reset.
