Heat pumps defrost which is the AC mode, if the heat strip isnt working during a defrost, the air will be cold, A heat pump only feels warm if the heat strips are on too! the refrigeration cycles heat output is much less sensible to our 98F skin. heat pumps that satisfy a room setpoint are working at least, all heat pumps feel drafty to most.
Hello You will have to reset your fuel pump switch located passenger side right foot kick panel when you press it it should stay down if this does not work your probably looking at a fuel pump not working.
The LP is for low pressure of the refridgerant. Your pump coils are either frozen, or the switch pressure switch is bad, or you are just low on refridgerant.
i had the same issue with my 96 chevy 1500. i sprayed just a little bit of starting fluid into the throttle body to see if it would fire on that. when it did i knew i had spark. turned out to be the fuel pump. try it and see what happens. all you need is just a quick spray. also i noticed that when i turned my key to the on position, i didn't hear the pump kick on to pressurize to lines.
Whats' so hard is the Honeywell thermostat has a built in 1@ differential. It is not adjustable. You might ask your installer about a time delay relay installed in the furnace to break the thermostat heat wire (usually white wire). Most time delay relays are 90 seconds. But that might be enough to reduce the furnace cycling.
if you have build up in the heat exchanger it will cause the unit to use more gas to heat your water, if the gas line isn't sized properly then your going to kick the error codes off. it sounds like you have two problems, first you have build up in your heat exchanger and it needs to be flushed and second you need to get a bigger gas line to it
