Washer does not fill with water

The washer will no longer fill with water whether starting a load or in any of the rinse positions. Water is available and pressure is normal. Suspect problem may be the inlet valve. Washer is 3 1/2 years old.

Star washing went get to rinse circle stop, press stop bottom and start bottom tries to start but not work

if you're saying it dies in the rinse cycle you could have a problem with your cold water not coming into the washer, the washer only uses cold water in rinse cycle,no cold water the washer won't run,try starting it just with cold water and see if it fills,if not bad water valve or problem with water in house valve or bad hose.

Hiw many gallons of water with 2 rinses does a top

Your washer takes 35 gallons to wash and 35 gallons to rinse. Ask me how I know? Well I work on them but last December my washer (which is the same as yours) developed a problem with the cold water inlet valve. My inlaws and daughter and friends all come by at different times to use paws paws washer. They pass 50 laundry mats to come to my house. Just for fun I told my wife to get a 5 gallon bucket and fill the washer up. It takes 7 buckets to fill the washer up and get it to start washing. Later she decided to run a water hose out to the washer and fill it up. Then my mother in law suggested she put the washer on rinse and fill the tub. That told me I had a timer problem. But luckily I have 2 or 3 washers around the house I can get parts off of. So to recap: 70 gallons of water to wash a full load of clothes is what I guesstamate it took. Did that slow down my inlaws? Nope.

Maytag washer stopped working at the rinse cycle

do you have the machine set for cold water rinse? if so, the solenoid that allows the cold water to come into the machine may be malfunctioning. try to see if it will fill in the rinse cycle with hot water? if so, you need to change the water inlet valve.

Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

LG washer uses so little water, clothes aren't even damp and not clean

You will need to have a qualified LG technician come out and see what the problem is.  You may have a water level switch issue.

70 series Kenmore washer

POWERUP, YOUR WASHER COULD BE THE LID SWITCH OR THE COLD WATER VALVE. AT THE END OF THE WASH CYCLE, THE MOTOR WILL SPIN OUT THE WATER, BUT ONLY IF THE LID SWITCH IS ACTUATED. IF THE SWITCH IS BAD, IT WILL NOT SPIN OUT THE WATER AND THE TIMER WILL NOT ADVANCE FROM THAT POINT.
IF THE WASHER SPINS, THE NEXT STEP IS TO FILL WITH WATER FOR THE RINSE CYCLE. MOST WASHERS USE COLD WATER FOR RINSES. IF THE COLD WATER VALVE IS RESTRICTED OR FAULTY, THE WASHER WON'T FILL. IF THE WASHER WON'T FILL, THE WATER LEVEL SWITCH WON'T ACTIVATE AND THE TIMER WON'T ADVANCE TO THE NEXT STEP.
