Cd player not loading or ejecting cd 5 red lights flashing on and off on righthand side of it

Did you try pressing the CDC eject button and keep pressing it until it ejects the CDC Box?

Interesting enough! One thing that I can say is when what you described happens, its usually when the player is not actually powered on. Meaning, I can load and unload cds from my player when the car is turned off and it will show me the clock and all that you described. That is because I still have power going to it when the car is not on. Therefore, the only thing that would be missing is the power wire that powers the player when the car is on. (try to follow me on this lol!) The YELLOW wire is usually the constant power from the battery to the unit, that would allow the unit to perform as you say, the RED wire is what powers on the unit when the car is turned on. It sounds like the problem would lay somewhere in there. One way to check this, (BE careful not to blow anything), take your cd player out of the car, put the red and yellow wires together, place the black wire to the ground on the battery and the red and yellow wire to the positive side of the battery. This will be all the power you need. Try to operate the cd player now and if everything works, you know that your just missing the Red wires power. Hope this helps.

make sure the yellow wire has power all the time and the red wire has power when the key is on. Most likely you do not have power to the red.

Have you tried downloading the most recent rom update for the CDN-90? All you need to do is download it from here http://www.numark.com/contentmgr/showdetails.php/id/1493/tt/5 , then burn the download to disc. Once that's done, put the disc into the player, switch the player off and wait 10 seconds, then switch it back on again. the player will read the disc and flash the ROM. this should reset the player for you. Before you ask, you can out the disc into either side of the player. Full instructions are given with the download.

Hi, I have a Panasonic SA-ak25 system. I played one cd then inserted a second. When the second cd had finished it ejected but the first cd is still in the player, When i try to eject it the lights start to flash and it always stops on no (4) can anybody help. Bob.

First things first:
1) deffective rotor for the onboard devide.
2) time to change your burner.
3) RMS the burner if warranty is available, for another new.

I would suggest checking the accessory (red wire), the yellow is a constant feed from the battery, which will allow the clock to be displayed no matter what. The accessory wire is what is used to turn on the cd player. You may need to restrip the red wire and check the lead going to the red wire with a test light to make sure it is getting a voltage light.

Blaupunkt supply a repair kit for this unit, this basically is a fix. but only works for 8 out of 10units.

its a pain to fit too.


you have to replace the 3 spindle guides and arms. the part number is : 8619001490 there a reall complicated thing to fit.
