If you have a firewall or network hardware, such as a router, you might
need to make a configuration change in order for your Xbox 360 console
to communicate with Xbox LIVE. This configuration change is sometimes
called “opening ports” or "port forwarding."
Xbox LIVE requires
the following ports to be open:
•
TCP 80
•
UDP 88
•
UDP 3074
•
TCP 3074
•
UDP 53
•
TCP 53

On your router configuration page (192.168.2.1), you should see a link for the DMZ, put your Xbox 360's IP in the DMZ, and save it. You may want to set your Xbox up with a static IP for this. It puts it outside the network and requires no port forwarding.
Put the IP Address of your Xbox 360 in the DMZ on your router. Anything in the DMZ is free of all firewall restrictions and all ports are open to this device. Once you place the Xbox 360 in the DMZ your NAT will be Open.
As you said your NAT is set to "Strict" I assume this is about the Xbox 360.
Put the IP Address of your Xbox 360 in the DMZ on your router. Anything in the DMZ is free of all firewall restrictions and all ports are open to this device. Once you place the Xbox 360 in the DMZ your NAT will be Open.
You can open the NAT settings of you router by accessing the router page. And by following the steps below.
1. Connect Modem - Router - Computer (Wired) 2. Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of your browser 3. Leave the Password blank and click submit 4. Scan and connect in the Xbox 5. Get the IP Address of the Xbox 6. On the left under Firewall Click DMZ 7. Enable the IP Address of the Xbox8. On the left Under Utilities click System settings 9 Enable UPnP then check the connection.
Do you have a DMZ on this router. If you turn on the DMZ and set your ip address for the xbox as your DMZ it may/may not work, but it is worth a shot. What that does is open up anything going to your xbox 360 so there should be no firewall between the router and the xbox.
This one is simple. Find the IP address that your Xbox is assigned by your router, then put it into the DMZ. This also goes for PS3 users who are having trouble with internet access.
Ok this is how its done. Open your DMZ on your router interface click enable. The IP address you'll have to enter the last digit. This IP address digit is found on your xbox, look under your xbox network setting an get the last digit of IP address an this will only set your xbox to open. bang thats how u fix it. Very simple. any Q's am @ [email protected]
