Did you by chance make a startup disc or have the setup disc.
Sorry all is lost, you will have start from scratch and reinstall, loosing all you had on main HHD. hopefully you will have made backups of important files to copy over when reloaded new setup.?
You could contact the Acer customer care and ask them for a new boot disc. Of course, that will cost.
Or, if you can arrange for it, just take any windows CD, boot into it and perform startup repairs. that should solve any boot loader issues.
Also, most laptops these days come with some sort of recovery drive in them already. isn't there anything like "Press F5 for recovery" or some similar message. Going into that and performing the startup repairs should do just fine. then, you can create some recovery CDs or DVDs for such a rescue the next time.
Yes, you can. Insert a Mac OS disc and restart with the OS disc as your startup disc. Once it's on the launch window, select the "Reset Password" from the upper menu. Then restart with the new password.
You can download the software/drivers from the HP website. Lookup your printer model in the support area of the HP site & you'll find a downloadable manual as well as all software & drivers. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
Here is a link for driver and software. Just choose your operating system and it will show you what you need. If you're not sure, I would download the driver and the ez instructions first. Then you can get your software. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=357&modelid=11642
