I have lost my intstruction manual and now when trying to change the inc cartridge I cannot find where abouts on/in the printer to remove old/install new one!!

The printer head is my be block. In these situation you need to wash the printer head with cleaner., and the same time push some amonia solution with the seringe through the black ink output pin gentaly. Then re assamble and turn on the printer .

Does your blank ink cartrdige filled with ink?
Or before you print Click on the Properties button. Click the Color Tab\Print in Grayscale\Black ink only
Check to see if you removed any protective tape on the cartridge. Check to see if you have it in place correctly. You may have a bad ink cartridge especially if you bought it used
I refilled my ink cartridge and you have to reset the chip on the cartridge,go back where you refilled your ink and ask them to reset the chip.Thats if you refilled the ink or you baught a canon one return it to the store.
