This can happen if we are placing the hand over the touchpad while typing.. But if you are not placing the hand on the touchpad and while typing if you face this issue.. Unistall the touchpad, keyboard drivers that is already present in the device manager Install a fresh copy from the acer website(www.support.acer.com) - the issue will be fixed
If it not under warranty I would suggest to open the laptop and reseat the Keyboard cable. Also it might just be that the keyboard is simply faulty - as the space bar is close to bv so maybe it was damaged some time ago. The last assumption I would have that liquid has been spilled onto the keyboard - It stuck bv and space together and everytime you type space, the key that are hooked with the dried liquid come down with it.
Unfortunately, Keyboards on laptop is a set. You need to replace the whole keyboard. If you have skills, you can try dismantle it and clean the area of the space bar within the membrane.
hope u r using licensed and updated antivirus (i prefer avg/kaspersky).. check the following with steps: howevr, did u tried reinstalling the keyboard driver.. or replacing the keyboard with a standby.. remove the mouse n see.. try reinstalling the os.. sometime it happens, if ur ram is faulty.. the last option left is ur main/mother board.. seek professional advice of ur system admin/vendor....
I had the same
problem on the Logitech MX3200 wireless keyboad. I simply unplugged my
receiver from the USB port and plugged it back in. It's not the first
time I've had this happen
My experience: cursor suddenly moving backward when i was typing, or moving somewhere else on the page. I would be typing and text suddenly would get highlighted. I followed someone's advice to disable the touch pad. Since I do have a mouse & key pad that was all i had to do.
HOW TO DISABLE THE TOUCHPAD FOR ACER 3680 AND OTHERS??? PRESS Fn +F7
Yep, it was that simple. At first I made sure i typed without my fingers or palms touching or near the touchpad. I noticed it seemed to stop or happen less. Soon as I disabled the touch pad all is back to normal. Yet I spent hrs trying to find out how and there were all these posts by people suggesting downloads and other more complicated things etc..
