BL-131C camera - amber light flashes every 2 sec

I'm using a BL-131C camera with alarm.com service. Camera seems to be working perfectly and I can access it online, but it flashes an amber light every 2 seconds (1 sec on, 1 sec off). It's been online for a week, but this started just 2 days ago. What's the light for and how can I get it to stop?

The good news is you can download the instruction manual from the Panasonic support website - the bad news is - its not free.

Error message E 2 's flashing .. what should i do?

If the alarm light is solid amber E2 indicates a paper feed error.
This can usually be cleared easily.
If the Power light and Alarm light are flashing green and amber then the E2 indicates an error requiring Canon servicing might have incurred.. If after disconnection it reappears then it looks like a bin job as nobody on the internet appears to have any solution for this one and anything involving Canon would be as much as a new printer.

Problem with the Flash Light of Nikon COOLPIX L12 Digital Camera

Hi,
I know some of the common things for the digital camera. I want you to try these.

-------->If the built-in flash does not function, then the camera may be set to Auto and will only flash when taking pictures in poorly illuminated environments.
-------->Set the camera to the Forced flash setting so it will flash regardless of the surrounding brightness.

IMPORTANT: If the Forced flash setting is already enabled and the flash is still not working, then the issue may be due to another camera setting. Even if the Forced flash setting is enabled, the flash will still not work in the following circumstances:

* When shooting MPEG movies
* When set to the Twilight mode
* If an external flash is connected

The information above should resolve your issue. However, if the issue still persists, you can try resetting the camera to factory specifications.
Some cameras have a RESET button built into them or a menu option to reset the camera to the default settings.
Refer to the instruction manual supplied with your camera for specific information regarding the availability of a RESET button or menu option to reset the default settings. Otherwise, continue with the manual reset procedure below.

1. Turn off the camera.
2. Ensure the camera is not connected to an AC power adapter.
3. Remove the battery from the camera for 15 seconds.
4. Reinsert the battery.
5. Turn on the camera.

If all the above fails you, then i doubt that Impact damage would have caused the flash not to work.
But i know you are not going to like this solution. No other way , you have to contact Nikon service centre for repair.

i hope this helps to fix your problem.
Thanx for using fixya.
Cheers.

Panasonic BL-C20

Normal 0 Probably has corrupt driver.
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Your cameras are losing conncetivity because of the air link being compromised this could be due to unintentional jamming (blocking of the wifi signal)or Resetting of the beacon (beacons can be set to broadcast at intervals) They are needed for the wifi devices to know that they are still a part of the network. These are more then likely your problem

Operation lamp - amber light blinking

I do not know the solution to your problem but I can tell you that when the camera is working properly that amber light means the flash is chargeing or your camera is doing something like saveing a picture so if your battery is low your flash might not charge properly or your camera might have something wrong with is memory. Sorry i couldn't be a better help.Good luck!
