I do not know the solution to your problem but I can tell you that when the camera is working properly that amber light means the flash is chargeing or your camera is doing something like saveing a picture so if your battery is low your flash might not charge properly or your camera might have something wrong with is memory. Sorry i couldn't be a better help.Good luck!

Presently charging my camera, does the red light alway blink?

Hi there,
Base on User's Guide of Casio Exilim EX-S600 Digital Camera, Flashing red light when charging the battery is mean "charge error"

Lamp light

Does ur camera ever say "lens error"? It sounds like what I typically hear as a lens error and the only way to fix that is to send it into repairs.

Casio Ex-S600 (Exilim Digital Camera)

The NP20 battery that your camera requires is not taking a charge because of a "charge error". Please contact tech support and give them your address and they will replace the battery free of cost for you.

More than likely lens is off track. send into casio to have it fixed.

Battery will not hold a charge.

Casio says:

Red blinking light = defective battery

No flashing light = possible defective charger.

What you can do is send all your stuff into casio and they will test everything for you and see what they could replace for you.
