I have a Yamaha SW150 subwoofer that makes a rumbling noise. Any suggestions on what it can be or how to repair it?

I have a Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer power amp only detached from the unit I want to know what else I can use that detached amplifier for other than that unit which I have no longer?

The Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer power amplifier is designed specifically for use with the YST-SW315 subwoofer. It may not be compatible with other subwoofers or audio equipment due to differences in impedance, power requirements, and signal levels. If you no longer have the YST-SW315 subwoofer, it is not recommended to use the power amplifier for other purposes. It is important to match the amplifier with the appropriate load (speaker) and signal source to avoid damaging the equipment or creating a safety hazard. Using the amplifier for other purposes may also void any warranty or insurance coverage.

No sound from my Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer. When I run the test speakers don't have sound either. Not sure if its the subwoofer or the Yamaha RX-V450 receiver

Feed it with an RCA cable any other audio device you may have (CD, TV, MP3 player, PC) to prove it can or can not woof. It will respond to any audio, not just LFE or subwoofer audio.
