The Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer power amplifier is designed specifically for use with the YST-SW315 subwoofer. It may not be compatible with other subwoofers or audio equipment due to differences in impedance, power requirements, and signal levels. If you no longer have the YST-SW315 subwoofer, it is not recommended to use the power amplifier for other purposes. It is important to match the amplifier with the appropriate load (speaker) and signal source to avoid damaging the equipment or creating a safety hazard. Using the amplifier for other purposes may also void any warranty or insurance coverage.

Hi, I have a YST-SW800 that just went dead on me. I don't have the knowledge to fix the amplifierunit. Is there anywhere I could buy a new amplifierunit to the subwoofer. O.E.

Possibly, try a search engine.

But even if you find one you're stuck with the same dedicated amp.

I once had a powered sub that blew its internal amp and the store gave me a whole new sub. THAT one blew the same way so I disconnected the internal amp and now use it as a passive sub with a separate amplifier that I own. Separable amp/speakers allow for the surviving component to be redeployed.

I GOT A YAMAHA SUBWOOFER SW 315 FROM USA WITH 120V RATING. BY FAULT I PLUGGED IT INTO 220V . NOW THE POWER LIGHT IS COMING BUT NO SOUND IS COMING FROM SUB. HOW CAN STANDBY LIGHT COME IF I BLOWN THE...

chances are that you have blown part of the circuitry insode the power supply. The power supply is recieving power, hence the standby light but not giving any actual output. If you are competant with electronics and can work on the power supply safely, take a part the power supply and look for any components which look to have scorching around them and test for operation. Obviously make sure that the units is UNPLUGGED from the mains supply before attepting this.

No sound from my Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer. When I run the test speakers don't have sound either. Not sure if its the subwoofer or the Yamaha RX-V450 receiver

Feed it with an RCA cable any other audio device you may have (CD, TV, MP3 player, PC) to prove it can or can not woof. It will respond to any audio, not just LFE or subwoofer audio.

150 ohm, 1/4W. But the problem is in STK 404-070 power amplifier. If you change only resistor, it will burn again. Try to replace power amplifier and then resistor.

I want to connect YST-Sw1500 sub woofer to the AX-596 amplifier .How can I do the connections .

on ur subwoofer u will see HPF output, connect this output to MAIN IN of ur power amp (first remove jumper between pre-out and main in from ur power amp) connect pre-out of ur power amp to input 2 L&R (Left is also for mono input). the HFP selector switch will cut off 80Hz or 100Hz to the main input depending on the position enabling u to have high frequency sound on your main speakers. connect the speakers to the main output terminal of ur power amp. do not connect speakers on the woofer ouput.
make sure u are using the right impedance speakers. do not switch speaker impedance selector while the unit is on.

Yamaha YST-SW320 subwoofer won't play sound

I too have amplifier and speakers thatI rent for parties, and sometimes when I connect them they don't work and I battle with them for hours before I find the out that its just a little thing that happened, like speaker wire might have cut inside, or the wire conneted for the CD to Amplifier is bad and son on.

But I will advice that you test your amplifier and woofer, with another equipment independently to be sure if they still working well or not. As this will help you to know what to do next.

May somthing happened to one of them the last time you used it and you did not notice, and it might just need some servicing.

Best wishes

When subwoofer auto powers off it make a big crackle sound from speaker. like it gets a backfeed or something

Bounds from the switch disconnecting. It really throws electric charges around that take a little bit to dissipate.
