Trying to print a word doc on plain paper. Error mesage "cannot complete this print job. To use Advanced dot placement mode...load genuine kodak gloss paper.....

You need to go into the paper setup on the printer and make sure that it is set for plain letter. The error you are getting is your printer thinking it does not have the correct paper loaded for the print job you sent.

That doesn't seem like video card issue it sounds like a printer driver issue. Check your print settings and make sure it's set to simply black and white or just color....and uncheck advanced dot placement mode.

Make sure that the page size of the doc is set to A4,What happens when u make a copy?

I started receiving this error after a Windows update. After 2 days of the same issue, I realized that I rebooted my computer several times but I hadn't yet turned the printer off and on. I unplugged and plugged it back in again. It ran through a quick reboot and then I was printing fine - no need to change any software settings, roll back drivers. etc.

Basically the problem is caused by the printer spooler which is a printer system file that was installed on windows XP
For this problem kindly try doing the ff:

* click START then select RUN
* Type net stop spooler
* click START then select RUN
* Type net start spooler
* Then try printing
* if problem still persist call 1800 421 6699

Please follow the steps given below:

1. Please Load a plain paper.
2. Press and hold the "Scan" button for three seconds.
3. An alignment page prints.
4. Place the alignment page onto the scanner glass.
5. Press the "Scan" button.
6. Once scanning is complete, the cartridge has been aligned for optimal print quality. Alignment must be complete before continuing with any print jobs.

Loading Envelopes
You can load plain envelopes into the paper tray of your Kodak ESP 3 All-in-One printer.
Important Do not use envelopes with cutouts or cellophane windows.
1 Remove any other paper from the paper tray.
2 Insert one or more envelopes into the right side of the paper tray with the print side down and
the envelope flaps on the right, pointing left.

3 Squeeze the paper-width guide and move it to its right-most position up against the envelopes.
4 Leave the paper tray open while the envelopes are loaded.

If you have and it's not printing correctly, there is probably a problem with the document you're trying to print.

Someone has sent a print job from a computer to the copier with an odd paper size specified. Go to Job status, under "print" highlight the first job in the que and delete it. (if the job was sent more than once you will have to repeat. ) Check the document and print settings of the offending document.
